The Tasmanian Bushfires: Tweet and Ride is a day trip, held on Sunday 3rd February 2013, by the Social Hobart community, to the fire-affected area of Dunalley and surrounds. As well as spending money in the area we will use social media to show the effect on the local community and some of the great reasons why you should visit the area.

If you are coming along in your own car and would like to meet up below is the general itinerary. Take it as a guide as we may get distracted and majority rules will rule the van. Just follow the hashtag or tweet us if you need an update. I’ve made a Google Map with the locations mentioned below.
9:00am – Leave Farm Gate Market, Hobart
10:00am – Arrive at Bream Creek Farmers Market to meet and support some of the local producers.
11:30am – Arrive at Dunalley. The Dunalley Fish Market has been recommended for lunch. The Dunalley Waterfront Cafe has been recommended for great coffee.
2:00pm – Arrive at the Tasman National Park after passing through Doo Town. Spend some time enjoying the natural beauty.
3:30pm – Arrive at the Dunalley Hotel for a sneaky and an afternoon snack before hitting the road to heading back to Hobart.
