Social Hobart has been running along nicely for a few months now so I though it might be time for our first evening event. And what better occasion could there be than Social Media Day 2012 which falls on Saturday 30th June.

To be perfectly honest, I’d not heard of Social Media Day until recently myself. But there seems to be a day for everything else so I guess this had to come along sooner or later.

Mashable have been staging these events since 2010 and they are community run by their readers.

I’m happy to run with this but it would be nice to have some help even if just to bounce ideas off etc. Or more. So get in touch.
